Maddy Hikes to Observation Point

At 2 weeks old, I think our great-grandaughter Maddy is probably the youngest visitor to Observation Point ever. Her adventurous parents Matt and Christine Cherry are starting her off early.

Visit from our Alabama Grandkids

It was fun having the Maestri family come visit the cabin in July. Luckily they came before the record heatwave, but they enjoyed the bows and arrows, making crafts to “sell,” and relaxing. Jennie and Ellie enjoyed a morning hike out to Observation Point.

PBS Utah films documentary at Rockin’ R Cabin

Yesterday we had a great film crew from PBS Utah spend a couple of days at the Rockin’ R while they were interviewing Roland for a new documentary on artists and Zion National Park. They also filmed Roland painting outdoors in Zion National Park.
